Tina Barrett is the Executive Director of Nebraska Farm Business Inc. (NFBI), where she leads a team of consultants serving over 600 agricultural producers across the state. Tina specializes in agricultural taxation, financial analysis, and business consulting. Her focus is on helping farm and ranch families make informed decisions through better record keeping, proactive tax planning, and long-term cash flow and profitability strategies. With decades of experience, she brings expertise in tax law as it applies to agriculture, including entity structuring and succession planning.
In addition to her work at NFBI, Tina has served as an adjunct instructor in the Agricultural Economics Department at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln since 2005. She teaches a course on farm income taxation, financial analysis, and accounting, helping the next generation of ag professionals understand the unique challenges and opportunities within agricultural finance.
Together with her husband, Anthony, Tina manages the day-to-day operations of NFBI and works one-on-one with producers throughout Nebraska. They live in Lincoln, Nebraska, and have four daughters, ages 18 to 26, and one granddaughter.
